Founder, Off The X Foundation
Scott is a retired U.S. Army veteran who served with distinction for 25 years. His military career began with 5 years in the elite 3rd Ranger Battalion, where he developed the foundation of leadership, resilience, and mission-focused discipline. He then went on to serve 19 years in one of the nation’s most highly regarded Special Missions Units, leading teams through complex and high-risk operations around the world.
Originally from Florida, Scott is a devoted husband and father of two. Despite his demanding operational schedule and 19 combat deployments, Scott and his wife Dayna always prioritized their family. Like many military families, they often found that time together was limited, and when opportunities did arise, financial constraints or lack of resources made it difficult to create lasting family experiences.
These personal challenges inspired Scott and Dayna to create Off The X Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to providing Special Mission Unit families with meaningful opportunities to reconnect. The mission is simple but powerful: offer families the space, time, and support they need to truly be together, fully and freely, without the financial burden that often comes with traditional vacations.
Through Off The X, Scott is committed to honoring the service and sacrifice of fellow warriors by strengthening what matters most, family. His vision is to help those who have given so much to our country enjoy restorative, memory making experiences with the people they love most.
